2024年9月23日，总会陪同马华公会赴杭州钱塘区的新加坡杭州科技园及江海之城建设地进行实地考察，

并与钱塘（新）区管委会副主任李俊、浙江省商务厅对外经贸合作局一级主任科员汤浩锋、钱塘(新)区商务局副局长刘晓宁等领导展开座谈。

杭州市已晋升为中国一线城市，与北京、上海、广州、深圳齐名，而钱塘区位列杭州市中心地带，是重要的经济技术开发区、高新技术开发区及自由贸易区。钱塘区政府目前正积极推动的“东部湾新城”、“江海之城”、“高铁新城”的建设，致力打造一个高质量的现代化国际化产业新城。

On September 23, 2024, the Federation accompanied the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) on a 

field trip to the Singapore Hangzhou Science and Technology Park and the River and Sea City 

development site in Qiantang District, Hangzhou.

The delegation held discussions with Li Jun, Deputy Director of the Qiantang (New) District 

Management Committee; Tang Haofeng, First-Class Senior Officer of the Foreign Economic and 

Trade Cooperation Bureau of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce; and Liu Xiaoning, 

Deputy Director of the Qiantang (New) District Commerce Bureau.

Hangzhou has been promoted to a first-tier city in China, on par with Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, 

and Shenzhen. Qiantang District, located in the heart of Hangzhou, is a major economic and 

technological development zone, a high-tech development zone, and a free trade zone. 

The Qiantang District government is actively promoting the development of the 

"Eastern Bay New City," "River and Sea City," and 

"High-Speed Railway New City," striving to create a high-quality, 

modern, and international industrial new city.
