2024年8月2日，总会作为协办单位参与“中馬建交50周年文化交流活動”：山海經暨中华非遗文化交流論壇，在总会的引荐和陪同下，上海市对外文化交流协会、上海市工商联、上海市慈善教育基金会、上海市慈善教育培训中心、上海市妇女儿童服务中心支持和指导的“山海经”剧团，带领65名上海国际学校的学生和家长到访马来西亚进行文化交流，并到访马华公会和拉曼大学，以更深入了解马华在建国路上的贡献及华人社区在我国的文化传承和发展历程，并促成马来西亚华人文化协会与上海传媒公司的合作备忘录签约。

On August 2, 2024, the Federation participated as a co-organizer in the "50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Malaysia" Cultural Exchange Event: Shan Hai Jing and Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Exchange Forum. Under the recommendation and accompaniment of the Federation, the "Shan Hai Jing" troupe, supported and guided by the Shanghai International Cultural Exchange Association, Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce, Shanghai Charity Education Foundation, Shanghai Charity Education Training Center, and Shanghai Women and Children Service Center, led 65 students and parents from Shanghai International School to visit Malaysia for cultural exchanges, and visited the Malaysian Chinese Association and Tunku Abdul Rahman University to gain a deeper understanding of the contributions of Malaysian Chinese to the founding of the country and the cultural heritage and development process of the Chinese community in our country, and facilitated the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Malaysian Chinese Cultural Association and Shanghai Media Company.
